Rates & Rules for Magers River Camp

     Magers River Camp is nestled in the hill country, on the beautiful spring fed Frio River, across from Garner State Park, under the amazing Old Baldy.  Magers offers 18 tent campsites, 9 screen shelters, 3 cabins, and 23 full RV hookups.  Family owned and operated for over 50 years, Magers takes pride in remaining a family oriented and fun place to vacation.
     Reservations begin at 9:00 am on March 1st of each year for all cabins, shelters, campsites, and RV’s.  A deposit equal to the first night stay is required for each reservation booked.  No credit cards accepted.  In-season bookings, Memorial Day to Labor Day, require a 3 night minimum reservation.  We now require $25 cleaning deposit on all cabins.
     One night deposits are non-refundable.  Reservation changes require a 14 day notice prior to arrival or customer is responsible for entire booking.  No refunds will be given due to leaving early or weather.

SHELTERS: 9 units available at $50 per night for 6 people, 2 cars, 4 tents. Each additional guest is $5.00 per night.  Maximum of 8 people and 4 cars per site.  (People = Ages 0-100)

• Pets welcome on leashes and must be attended to at all times.
• All vehicles must have and display camp passes. (Extra cars = $10 each per day)
• No more than 4 tents around each shelter. (No tent A/C units allowed)
• All units have a picnic table and fire area.
• All units have one 30 amp hook-up. ($15.00 per night charge for usage)
• Bath house located centrally in campground.

CABINS: 2 units available at $100 and 1 unit available at $75 per night for 6 people, 2 cars, 2 tents. Each additional guest is $5.00 per night.  Maximum of 8 people and 4 cars per site.  (People = Ages 0-100)

• No more than 2 tents around the cabin areas. (No tent A/C units or RV’s allowed)
• All vehicles must have and display camp passes. (Extra cars = $10 each per day)
• All units have AC, refrigerator, stove and dining table.  Kitchen utensils no longer provided.
• $25 Cleaning deposit now required.  Refundable on departure date post inspection.
• 2 units have bathrooms, 1 unit located next to bath house.
• NO SMOKING IN CABINS!!!
• Beds have fitted sheets only. No linens, towels, or blankets provided.
• Pets welcome on leashes and must be attended to at all times.

CAMPSITES: 17 sites available at $35.00 per night for 6 people, 2 cars, 4 tents. Each additional guest is $5.00 per night.  Maximum of 8 people and 4 cars per site.  (People = Ages 0-100)

• All sites have water, electricity, and 30 amp hook-up.
• All vehicles must have and display camp passes. (Extra cars = $10 each per day)
• $5.00 per night fee for A/C usage on 30 amp RV hook-up. (No tent A/C units allowed)
• Pets welcome on leashes and must be attended to at all times.
• All sites have picnic table and fire area.
• Bath house located centrally in campground.

RV HOOKUPS: 23 sites at $45.00 per night for 6 people, 1 car. Each additional guest is $5.00 per night. Maximum of 8 people and 2 cars per site.  (People = Ages 0-100)

• All sites have water, electricity, and sewer hookup.
• All vehicles must have and display camp passes. (Extra car = $10 per day)
• Bath house located centrally in campground.
• Pets welcome on leashes and must be attended to at all times.
• All sites have picnic table and fire area.
• 30 & 50 amp hook-ups available - please specify RV size when making reservation.
• No Tents allowed in RV area.  No exceptions!

CAMP RULES TO KEEP YOUR VACTATION FUN AND FAMILY ORIENTED:

• NO LITTERING – a trashy campsite is grounds for dismissal without refund.  Dumpsters on site.
• No outside A/C or window units allowed for tents, shelters or cabins.
• DANGER: DO NOT tamper with any breaker/electrical boxes!!!
• Customer is responsible for any breaker/electrical damage, repair and costs!
• No generators or large outdoor fans.  Loud nuisances.
• No firearms, air rifles, sling shots or paint ball guns.
• Please do not hammer nails into trees.
• No tents allowed in RV area.  No exceptions!
• Quiet time is after 11:00pm. Respect your neighbors.
• No loud music, profanity, or loud noise.  Please respect your neighbors.
• Speed limit 5 mph at all times.  Families at play!
• No ATV’s, golf carts, scooters, etc. allowed at any time.  Insurance Liability.  No Exceptions!
• No vehicles on river bank or in river.  Drop off & parking areas near river available.
• SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!  No lifeguard on DUTY!!!
• Not Responsible for Accidents!  You are responsible for your party and your own safety.
• Do not leave plastic on shelters or carpets on the ground.
• Pets welcome on leashes and must be attended to at all time.
• No cutting of any trees at any time.
• NO SMOKING IN CABINS.
• All guests under the age of 18 must but be accompanied by a responsible adult.
• No glass containers allowed in river.
• Disturbances due to intoxication are strictly prohibited. Guests will be given a warning to quiet down and asked to leave immediately if failing to do so. No refunds given.
• No parking at dam, boat or tube rental area from 7am – 9pm.
• Please display parking permits at all times.  Towing Enforced!
• Please do not loiter around main entrance, office or inside bath house.

Paddle boats, tube rentals, ice, snow cones and other great goodies are available on-site down by the river.  The famous Garner State Park dance starts every evening around dusk right across the river and goes until 11:00 pm. We hope you have a fun and safe stay with us here at Magers.
